I found a yellow round pill in my son's room, what is it?

Maybe someone can tell me what it is, or where i can find out what it is, it has a 40 on one side and E705 on the other.
Answer:
generic Oxycontin - 40mg

Speed.
I took one of those last week. Its a pain killer...like hydrocodone...without the asprin.
While I can't give you the answer, you can get a book called the PDR (Physicians Desk Reference) at the library (usually in the refrence section). It has a list and picture of every drug made in the US. It usually also has the text of the insert (use, advisories, etc).

You can also call your family Dr and if they are nice they will look it up in the PDR they have in the office.
There are a lot of pills out there, unless you have a picture theres really no way you can get a correct answer.
The simple way to find out is to ask him. Then ask him what is he doing with it..
You can either take it to your doctor or your local chemist/pharmacist and show it to them and ask them what it is. If you don't want to explain to them where you found it just say it was on the footpath outside your home or something like that.
oxycodone
Generic Oxycontin. Kids use it to get high. Usually they will crush it up into a fine powder and snort it. Have a serious talk with him -- it can be very dangerous.
Give 'em a little break. Don't throw 'em out the window anytime soon. Actually, don't let him know you found the pill. Give 'em some respect, ya know. Also, you could...very, very very inconspicuosly bring up drugs and alcohol to him and all your kids if you have more. (Which would make it more inconspicuous)
Now, I guess that's kinda disrespect to. But I haven't got that far, yet, so...
